Scenic Flight with the Fockers
Well it had to happen... the Fockers came for a flight with the Punks. Was looking a bit doubtful if we would get up in the air or not as there was low cloud everywhere which was stopping us from cruising up to central.
However not one to let cloud stand in his way Captain Alexis cleverly navigated the skies and before we knew it we were in crystal clear skies with spectacular views everywhere.
Think the Nana punk was most impressed that we just "flew up" to visit.
After dropping the old fockers in Alex the Punks hightailed it Wanaka for a leisurely lunch with Em & Dan. I could get used to this lifestyle I think ;o)
First Flight
What a better way to spend the Monday evening than taking a scenic flight over the nuggets ;o)
These are from Alexis first flight as Pilot-in-Command! Was pretty breathtaking - it was just before the sun set so was getting pretty gray and dark. Still had time to spot the waves though.
Was very proud and once we had landed safely had a quick trip to the supermarket to get some bubbles!

Surf Hunting in the Caltins
It seems that one of our favorite past times these days is to go exploring in the catlins to hunt out the secret surf spots.
After finding no waves at the first beach the disappointed Punk persuaded us that we should head to another location. However time was running out for the Punk as we were due to start partying back in Lewin Street. When we realised that the second location was actually a 20min hike to the beach things took a turn for the worse...
I was lucky enough to have the Wallicator with us for this exploration who quickly negotiated with the Punk that he could run down to check out the beach as long as he left his board with us.
The Punk was torn but took off to the beach anyway... the ladies stayed and enjoyed the view from top (and polished off a bag of chips)

The punks were renovating
Well the punks along with ol' eagle eye spent the entire easter weekend wallpapering and painting. Just a few days (and a few grumpy moments) later we were left with a very swanky funky hallway and bathroom. Thanx ma for all your hard work and words of encouragement!! will post finished product when we get the curtains ;o)
We still busy (or not so busy) on spare room - but alexis seems in no hurry much to my dispair!!

The punks have a blog
Hi all, so we have made it one step further with trying to stay in touch and started our very own blog... well we will see how long it lasts ;o)
This is us on our very first flight with Captain Alex in control, we flew down around nugget point and then went and checked out a few surfing spots. I wasn't even that scared just stayed frozen to my seat!
Captain Alex had everything in control and i did relax a bit so now we off flying as much as poss.
